Penny Marshall's bittersweet comedy about 13-year old Josh (David Moscow) whose wish to be "big" is granted, Twilight Zone style, and he wakes up to discover that he's grown to manhood (Tom Hanks) overnight. Still a 13-year-old mentally and emotionally, Josh hides out in New York City and lucks into a job with a major toy company run by kid-at-heart McMillan (Robert Loggia).
"What's great about it is that it shows how wonderfully full of toys the world of adults can be." --Hal Hinson, Washington Post (full review)
Special pricing! $2 children, $5 adults. All proceeds will be donated to charity. A “kid-run” event.
